12:25 pm - Help finding a doll?

Hello! I just joined, and found this comm by searching Google tirelessly for Jenney sites (which there aren't many of, unfourtunately). Anywho, does anyone know where I can find this
Image hosting by Photobucket Jenny at? I'd love to get my hands on her. I first saw a picture of her sometime last year, or maybe the year before that, and have been looking for her ever since. Unfourtunately, Takara's english page hasnt been updated in quite some time, and if I'm not mistaken Toys R Us (US stores) no longer sells Jenny dolls online, and never sold them in thier stores. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

6:04 pm - Jenny Sewing Patterns?

I've spent the last three days making Licca clothes from some free Blythe patterns online. Does anyone have or know of a site that has free Jenny/Barbie sewing patterns? All I can find are crochet/knitting patterns.

Thanks very much,

Does anyone know a good place to buy the Ashton Drake reproduction Blythe? There are some on Ebay for USD75 but I've heard of people getting her cheaper than that...

5:05 am - Anya Zou, Russian doll artist

Anya's world of artistic dolls is always a wonderful fairy tale where both good and evil, love and despair, dreams and fine imaginings are presented. There exist fairies and princes, beauties and heroes - as well as doll images of ordinary people.

Price: 500 USD
Next picture >

Materials: plastica, textiles, papier-mache - but not only those.
Measures: from 20 cm to 60 cm high.

The dolls are volumetrical and delicately detailed.
Some of them are dolls-"pictures" made within traditional picture frames.

Anya Zoueva will be glad to collaborate with real and virtual doll shops and galleries, which could present and exhibit her works.

7:05 am - Hello...

Was hoping that maybe someone in this community could help me.
I have a friend who is absolutely in love with the volks super dolphie.
I've been to their website and looked around.
It seems like the prices are a little high...
Am I wrong in thinking that?
Would it make much of a difference in price if I bought one in person rather than over the internet?
I ask because at some point during the next 6mths I will be traveling to japan to spend some time w/ my husband who is working over there.

I really would like to be able to bring her a dolphie back.
She was recently diagnosed w/ cancer and given 3 mth to 1 yr to live.
She taking chemo now and we are all waiting to see what the doctors are going to say next...but I know that getting a super dolphie would make her so happy...
So anyways I guess what I'm trying to say or ask is

Does anyone know of a store in japan that sells them?
Would it be cheaper to buy it in a store in japan, rather than on the internet?

Any and all replies would be greatly appreciated.
As for my friend, she is on lj her name is Katt and there is a journal now specifically for her kattaryna_rox

Thanks again.
